Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant for the Bluebonnet Detention Center in Anson, TX. The role supports the medical department by administering medications, documenting care, and collecting clinical data in a correctional healthcare setting.
Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, plus certification as a Medication Aide or Medical Assistant, and CPR certification. Prior hospital or clinic experience is preferred.
Pay: $21 per hour

The Bluebonnet Detention Center in Anson, TX is looking for your compassionate care and expertise in our medical department! Our dedicated staff work to improve lives through education, healthcare, and a variety of support services.
Assist with the safe and timely administration of authorized routine medications, documentation of medication administration, collection of objective clinical data, and other assigned patient-care activities within their training, demonstrated competency, and applicable scope in compliance with MTC Medical policies and applicable customer directives.
It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
High school diploma or GED required. Must be a Certified Medication Aide or Certified Medical Assistant with appropriate certification or permit. One year of experience in a hospital, clinic, or correctional setting is preferred. Demonstrated competency in word processing and computer data entry is preferred. Must maintain current CPR certification. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required, unless it is waved by management.
