Qualifications
Master’s degree in Medical Physics from an accredited college or university.
Graduate from a CAMPEP accredited residency program.
ABR board certification (or equivalent).
Full Texas licensure.
HDR planning and treatment experience.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Working knowledge of external beam radiation therapy.
Radiation Safety Officer duties for x-ray registration and RAM licenses.
Ability to travel to support the sister clinic as needed.
Skills
Working knowledge of Varian linear accelerators
Elekta/Nucletron microselectron HDR afterloader
HDR, SBRT and SRS procedures
Strong organization skills
Oral and written communication skills
Education
