Job summary

Phoenix Cyberknife & Arizona Radiation Therapy Specialist is seeking a Certified Medical Dosimetrist to design, calculate, and optimize personalized radiation treatment plans in collaboration with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists. The role involves planning for Ethos, TrueBeam, Cyberknife, and TomoTherapy using advanced techniques.

The ideal candidate should have CMD certification, JRCERT-accredited education, and strong experience with IMRT/VMAT and adaptive workflows, while working

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Medical Dosimetry program or equivalent accredited program.
• Current certification as a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) through MDCB.
• Knowledge of radiation therapy treatment planning principles, anatomy, radiation physics, and radiobiology.
• Experience with advanced treatment planning techniques including IMRT and VMAT.
• Strong ability to work independently and prioritize multiple patient plans.

Responsibilities

• Design and generate individualized radiation therapy treatment plans based on physician prescriptions and clinical protocols.
• Perform treatment planning for a wide range of disease sites using 3D conformal, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, and adaptive techniques.
• Review and evaluate plans for target coverage and dose conformity; ensure adherence to normal tissue constraints.
• Participate in physician plan reviews and communicate plan requirements to the treatment delivery team.
• Develop and maintain documentation in EMR and radiation oncology information systems.
