Medical University of South Carolina’s MUSC Community Physicians is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support the Horry County Occupational Health & Wellness program in a PRN, on-site capacity. You will interview patients, measure vital signs, and input data into the medical record under the direction of a physician.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, maintaining basic computer skills, and completing annual competencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs (pulse, temperature, BP, weight, height) and records data in the medical record.
• Prepares examination rooms for patient visits.
• Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing.
