ALABAMA REGIONAL MEDICAL SERVICES is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our PRN pool, assisting our Medical and Prevention team across multiple community-based and clinic locations with mobile and flexible duties.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, skilled, and collaborative, delivering patient care, phlebotomy, injections, wound care, health screenings, and administrative support in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of CMA experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work a flexible, changing schedule depending on clinic needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to function in mobile and fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for exams, collect histories, and record vital signs onsite or offsite.
• Travel to various clinic and community sites as part of a mobile care team.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver preventive healthcare services.
• Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with examinations and procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy, label specimens, and conduct routine lab tests.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
• Provide wound care and educate patients on medications and preventive practices.
• Conduct health screenings in-clinic and offsite via Mobile Unit.
• Support administrative functions including appointment scheduling, billing, and follow-up.

• Conduct health screenings both in-clinic and offsite via Mobile Unit
• Support administrative functions including appointment scheduling, billing, and patient follow-up
