Job summary

Primary Care Services SC in Illinois is seeking a certified medical assistant for a full-time, in-person role. You will perform EKGs, immunizations, injections, phlebotomy, vitals, and obtain patient histories while ensuring accurate documentation in EPIC EMR.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years MA experience, OSHA knowledge, good communication, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. The position offers full-time hours and benefits including health insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• MA Certification required and minimum 1–2 years as Medical Assistant.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred (EPIC).
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and patient privacy rules.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients to exam rooms and prepare for clinician visits.
• Document medications, findings, and visit notes accurately.
• Take vitals, perform EKGs, administer immunizations and injections.
• Call patients back with results and coordinate test scheduling.
• Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and assist team as needed.
