Qualificações

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is required.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic pharmacology.
• Experience with team-based care models.

• Experience with adult and geriatric patients preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

ABOUT THE CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT (PRIMARY CARE)

Responsibilities may include rooming patients, obtaining medical history, vitals, administering injections / immunizations, performing phlebotomy and specimen collection, conducting EKGs, point-of-care testing, assisting with minor in-office procedures, performing wound care / dressing changes, and administering medications per provider protocol and standing orders. The MA also ensures continuity of care by coordinating referrals / follow-up, supporting chronic disease management, assisting with prior authorizations, and partnering with the extended care team to close care gaps and improve patient outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT (PRIMARY CARE)

COMPENSATION

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with similar roles in the region, based on prior training and experience.
