CNY Fertility is seeking a Medical Assistant - Certified to support our Albany Lab in Latham, NY. The role involves patient rooming, vital signs, specimen collection, phlebotomy, and assisting physicians and staff in a fast-paced fertility clinic.

Ideal candidates hold a CMA or RMA certification (or equivalent) and a high school diploma, with experience in a clinical setting. The position is full-time and on-site with a patient-centered care approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CMA or RMA certification is highly desirable.
• Assist with patient care activities and clerical tasks.
• Ability to read/interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Places patients in rooms and assists with recording vitals and history.
• Records patient history, medications, and significant changes.
• Performs phlebotomy.
• Collects and labels specimens; transports to lab.
• Cleans, stocks, and maintains exam rooms.
• Assists with medication instructions and pharmacy orders.
• Greets patients and checks them in; collects co-pays and demographics.
• Answers phone calls when needed; participates in training and education.
• Other duties as assigned by the organization.
