Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and Work Experience: High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
• Licenses/Certifications: Medical Assistant Certification: Required
• Licenses/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider: Required
• Licenses/Certifications: Audiometry and vision training or CHDP certificate: Preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: Phlebotomy certificate: Preferred
• Facility Specific License/Certifications: BLS certification: Required

Responsibilities

• Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients; maintains continuity of care log.
• Assists physician with office procedures and provides needed supplies.
• Obtains vital signs and reports significant findings to clinic physician.
• Performs audiometry and vision testing.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education

High School Education/GED or equivalent

Medical Assistant Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification

Audiometry and vision training certificate/CHDP

Phlebotomy certificate
