Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a patient-centered clinic in San Francisco. You will support providers and nursing staff, prepare patients, perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and immunizations within scope, and help maintain clean exam rooms.

The position is full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday during daytime hours. Requirements include a CMA certification, BLS, a high school diploma, and at least one year of CMA experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CMA certification/license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one year CMA experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by obtaining vital signs and escorting to exam rooms.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKGs, and glucose checks within scope.
• Assist providers and nurses with examinations, treatments, and minor diagnostics.
• Administer medications or immunizations as permitted within scope.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and proper supply inventory.
• Enter and update medical histories and immunizations in EMR.
• Communicate with patients and relay messages to care staff.
