Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Physician Services is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, APP, or RN in accordance with established guidelines.

Candidates should have a GED or completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program, or one year of related clinical experience; BCLS and CMA-AAMA or NCMA-NCTT certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include GED preferred or completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program.
• In lieu of formal education, one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience is required.
