Job summary

Triad Adult and Pediatric Medicine (TAPM) in High Point, NC, is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to join the team. You will assist providers and clinical staff, perform a range of clinical and administrative duties, and help prepare patients for visits.

The role requires CMA/RMA certification, CPR, and a NC driver’s license for occasional travel. You will work under direct supervision and float to other clinic sites as needed, ensuring patient confidentiality and quality care.

Qualifications

• High school education plus broad technical training in a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Program.
• Must be currently Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA).
• Must have working knowledge of data processing equipment, computers, telephones and typical office machines.

Responsibilities

• Assists provider staff during examinations, treatments, and testing with cultural sensitivity.
• Follows orders and protocols for patient care, including venipuncture, immunizations, administrative tasks and paperwork.
• Retrieves information from patient charts for labs and tests and secures required patient signatures.
• Performs patient intake and prepares for office visits per policy.
• Supports entry of visit charges and informs patients about follow-up appointments.
• Ensures referral forms and related paperwork are complete and accurate.
• Provides clear follow-up care instructions with consideration for cultural diversity.
• Stock and organize inventory for examination rooms and nurse stations.
• Cleans and prepares examination rooms and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Floats to other clinic sites as needed.
