Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical care under supervision. You will prepare exam rooms, assist physicians, take vital signs, and perform routine administrative duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program preferred.
• CMA certification or equivalent required/licensed per NJ standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam rooms, treatment rooms, supplies and instruments.
• Assists physicians with patient visits and examinations.
• Records vital signs and documents in the medical chart.
• Operates and maintains clinical equipment.
• Performs EKG, PFT, Audiometry and related tests as directed.
• Maintains patient records and handles clerical tasks.
• Adheres to confidentiality and patient privacy standards.
