Job summary

Heartland Community Health Center – Lawrence, KS is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to join its interdisciplinary medical team. You will support providers with direct patient care, maintain exam rooms, handle patient intake, vital signs, phlebotomy, and lab support while coordinating with front desk and nursing staff.

The role is non-exempt hourly with a $20.50–$26.50 wage range and a $500 sign-on bonus; typical hours are Mon–Fri with potential

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant course training.
• Certificate of graduation and proof of certification.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients to obtain medical information and vital signs; records in EHR.
• Performs procedures directed by provider (EKG, screenings, dressings).
• Administers vaccines and injections and assists with lab procedures.
