Mmhealth in Osgood Primary Care/Minor Care is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to support providers with a broad range of clinical tasks. Responsibilities include gathering patient data, charting, and preparing for exams.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of medical assisting experience and CMA certification is preferred. The role requires efficient, accurate data entry and compassionate patient interaction in a fast-paced medical office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare training preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year medical assisting experience preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred; at minimum, proficiency with medical charting.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients into exam rooms promptly and politely.
• Take vital signs and prepare patients for exams.
• Transport patients safely between rooms and procedures.
• Set up and tear down procedures as needed for patient care.
• Prepare and mail pre-visit/education instructions to patients.
• Document information in the health record and coordinate with the provider.
