Tanner-Health-1 is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and relevant certifications. CPR/Healthcare Provider training is expected, and BLS within 90 days may be required by the facility.

Experience with basic patient care and medical order communication is essential. Candidates with CMA/CCMA/RMA/NCMA/CMAC credentials and prior X-ray or EKG exposure are highly valued.

Qualifications

• CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), or CMAC (AMCA) certifications accepted.
• Able to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees, and physicians.
• Must understand patient's medical records, physician's orders, and medical orders to communicate to patients, hospitals, and/or physicians.
• Must adhere to clinical standards with disciplined approach.
• Prior experience performing x-rays and EKGs preferred.
• Six months experience preferred; note: BLS within 90 days.
