Job summary

The Certified Medical Assistant at Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) works under the Outpatient Clinic Manager to support patient-centered care. You will perform multi-skilled tasks, interview patients, take vital signs, and help with examinations and treatments as directed by physicians.

You will prepare rooms, document information in medical records, and ensure a smooth patient flow. A high school diploma, accredited medical assisting program, and BLS certification are required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• One year patient care experience preferred.
• Certification through AMT/AAMA/NHA/NAHP/NCCT as CCMA/CMA/NAHP/NCCT.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and records vital signs.
• Assists in examination and treatment under physician direction.
• Prepares treatment rooms for examinations.
• Inputs data into patients' medical records.
