Job summary

Qualifications

• National CCMA certification from recognized bodies required.
• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake, update medical records, and administer screening tools.
• Record medical information and test results; interview patients; take vital signs; collect specimens; and administer meds under supervision.
• Assist with walk-in and scheduled visits; verify and record data; ensure quality standards.
• Monitor environment for accreditation readiness and adjust practice schedules as needed.
• Apply CMA scope of practice with holistic, patient-centered, team-based care.
• Guide patients through the health care system and help them arrive on time.
• Provide emotional support aligned with the patient's plan of care.
• Assist with referrals to appropriate specialists.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

National Certification CCMA from: NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA, or NCCT

Associate's degree in Medical Care or related field
