Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinic/outpatient setting or one year in the Novice-II position.
• BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA) and CMA certification are required.
• Preferred CPT – Certified Phlebotomy Technician (ACA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment of patients under supervision.
• Assist providers with administration of patient care in assigned clinical areas.
• Schedule patient appointments and verify patient eligibility for care.
