AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Kansas is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support patient care and clinic operations in a day-shift, full-time role.

You will monitor vital signs, collect specimens, assist physicians, and ensure infection prevention, while coordinating care with nursing and front-office staff.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS CPR certification, and CMA/CMAC or related CMA credentials; English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Formación

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Vital signs and specimen collection are required.
• Infection prevention protocols must be followed.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor physician schedules and organize patient care for timely visits.
• Serve as the point of contact for daily clinic operations and resolve issues.
• Support relationship-based care and uphold organizational mission and values.
• Conduct training sessions and review patient care protocols with staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement best practices and maintain high care standards.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Room patients, take vital signs, document visit reasons, history, and allergies.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures with clear communication.
• Audit ordered tests for timely results and follow-up.
• Monitor supplies and equipment, reporting needs to leadership.
• Delegate duties and manage operational issues to ensure quality and customer service.
• Work within the organizational framework to meet hospital goals.
• Provide direct patient care and lead front-line staff.
