Qualifications

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program
• No experience required.
• BLS Certification and Medical Assistant Certification from recognized organizations (AAMA/AMT/NCCT/AMCA/NAHP/NHA) or THMG Leadership Approval.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, answer telephones, schedule appointments, and update EMR.
• Room patients, take medical histories, perform and record vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms for procedures and assist Physician, NP or PA during examinations.
• Explain treatment procedures to patients and facilitate patient flow through the office.
