Urology Clinics of North Texas in Flower Mound, TX is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our outpatient practice. You will work closely with physicians and clinicians to support examinations, procedures and patient care, ensuring accurate documentation in the EHR and a smooth clinic workflow.

Formación

• Active Certified Clinical Medical Assistant certification.
• Current continuing education and credentials.
• Experience in a physician practice, outpatient clinic or similar setting.
• Ability to perform specimen collection, vital signs, urinalysis, blood draws, injections and catheterization.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, medications and commonly used instruments.
• Strong patient-service and communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail and reliability.
• Professional appearance; scrubs are required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for examinations and document clinical information.
• Assist physicians with examinations, treatments and in-office procedures.
• Perform clinical tasks (vital signs, specimen collection, urinalysis, blood draws, injections, catheterization).
• Observe patients and communicate concerns to the provider.
• Explain procedures clearly and treat patients with respect and discretion.
• Process medication refills and prior authorizations as assigned.
• Schedule outpatient or inpatient procedures and surgeries.
• Document patient care in the EHR and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate physician schedule changes with internal teams.
• Maintain OSHA and clinic documentation.
