Golden State Orthopedics & Spine in Oakland, CA is seeking a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant to join our orthopedic team. The role includes maintaining exam rooms, stocking supplies, disinfecting equipment, and assisting in procedures as needed.

• 2 years of Medical Assistant experience (Required).
• Certified Medical Assistant (Required).
• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintaining exam rooms
• Stocking supplies
• Disinfecting equipment and instruments
• Pre-certification of medications and assisting in procedure/treatment when appropriate
• Drawing Blood
• Verifying patient eligibility and coverage
• Scheduling surgeries, hospital procedures, and pre/post-op appointments
• Additional duties as assigned
