Emory Healthcare in Warner Robins, GA seeks a Medical Assistant to join our team. Under general supervision, you will perform triage, patient registration, and routine clinical tasks in accordance with established protocols.
You will assist with direct patient care and specialized routine procedures, handle clerical duties, and support a courteous, safe patient experience. Current BLS and CMA credential or completion within 30 months preferred.
Day - 8 Hour (United States of America)
Under general supervision, provides initial patient triage, registration, and administrative services, assists with direct patient care, and performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as directed and dictated by established protocol. May perform other routine clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, assisting with telephone coverage, patient check in and out. All other job related duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Completion of an accredited medical assistant diploma program. These programs are offered at proprietary schools.
One (1) year medical assistant.
Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
Certified Medical Assistant credential or obtained within 30 months.
