Job summary

Qualifications

• Punctuality and adherence to schedule is a must.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Certification is required (CMA, RMA, CCMA).
• Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited institute.

Responsibilities

• Prepares instruments, equipment, and materials for patient care and keeps exam rooms aseptic, neat, and stocked.
• Obtains and documents complete patient data in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepares patients for exams and assists provider with exams, tests, and procedures as needed.
• Processes prescriptions as directed by provider.
• Communicates with patients about concerns and relays information to the provider.
• Completes care team calls in a timely manner and assists with other care teams as needed.
