Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from accredited Medical Assistant program with certification.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• 1 year outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Proficient in reading/writing English and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform front desk reception and scheduling.
• Input ICD/CPT coding for billing and QA.
• Coordinate with home health, hospice, DME and other partners.
• Monitor Epic In Basket and respond timely.
• Perform well visits and nursing visits as directed.
• Document all patient visits prior to provider start.
• Disinfect and maintain infection prevention standards.
