Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Medical Assistant certification from a recognized national association.
• One year of MA experience if not a graduate of an MA program or no work experience if graduate.
• Strong organizational, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care, emotional support and problem solving under supervision of licensed practitioner, manager or RN.
• Coordinate time/schedule changes with supervisor and identify educational resources to meet developmental needs.
• Handle, transport, access to and/or contact with medications and related supplies when required.
