Job summary

Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide patient care under the supervision of physicians or APPs in an ambulatory setting. The position supports data collection, exam prep, and clinical procedures.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM at the Wesley Chapel location, with preference for candidates having pediatric experience and strong documentation skills in accordance with Orlando Health policies.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school or equivalent work experience as CMA.

Responsibilities

• Gathers patient data through interviews and observation.
• Assists patients and families with preparation for examination.
• Assists physician or APP during examination and procedures.
• Documents patient data and education according to policies.
• Schedules specialty testing and physician consultations as needed.
• Maintains infection control and adheres to policies.
