Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of qualified Medical Assistant course.
• Additional credentialing or certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform clinical tasks and assist physicians per office guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examination and administer injections and immunizations.
• Perform laboratory testing, EKGs and other office procedures.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate tests; assist front office and clinical areas.
• Assist physician with documentation and clinical workflow.
• Arrange diagnostic testing and specialist or hospital referrals.
• Maintain waiting and examination rooms, restock supplies.
• Train other Medical Assistants and support performance improvement.
• Complete required educational requirements and registration tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Formation

High School Diploma or equivalent

Technical/other training in Medical Assisting or related field

GED or better in Other or related field
