Job summary

Qualifications

• Postsecondary CMA program from an accredited school preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) CMA-AAMA or RMA upon hire required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required upon hire or per policy.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vitals, perform EKGs, and assist in office-based procedures.
• Administer vaccines, wound care, and specimen collection under supervision.
• Prepare and administer medications under physician direction per guidelines.
• Coordinate care, verify insurance, obtain prior authorizations, and educate patients.
• Maintain EMR accuracy and document clinical tasks.
