Job summary

Qualifications

• One year medical assistant experience required if not a graduate of a MA program.
• Two to three years of CMA experience preferred, especially in academic health care.
• Proficient with PC use and standard office software (email, Microsoft).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, age-specific patient care under physician direction.
• Assist with vitals, rooming, injections, and procedures in the clinic.
• Coordinate with hospital scheduling and prior authorizations with insurers.
• May float to other sites when providers are not in house; rotate shifts as needed.
• Support schedule management and communication with the Nurse/Practice Manager.
