Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical care under supervision. You will prepare rooms, take vital signs, and assist physicians with exams. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Effective communication and interaction with diverse populations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Knowledge of computerized processes and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms, supplies and instruments.
• Prepare patients for physician visits and assist as directed.
• Take vital signs and record in medical chart.
• Operate and care for clinical equipment as trained.
• Perform EKG, PFT, Audiometry, Titmus Test when indicated.
• Assist with lab testing and specimen handling as directed.
• Maintain patient records and assist with billing procedures as needed.
• Use computer software to manage office systems and confidentiality.
• Communicate with patients across developmental and language needs.
• Contribute to special projects and adhere to competencies.
