Texas Health Resources' Women’s Care Clinic in Denton, TX is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a full-time, days position. You will provide direct patient care, perform routine clinical tasks, and assist the care team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include vital signs, injections, EKGs, specimen collection, and patient education. New grads welcome with onsite externship; ACLS preferred; BCLS required. Competitive benefits and sign-on available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CMA certification is required.
• New grads welcome with onsite externship completed.
• 1 year MA experience preferred.
• CT program competency within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using CMA process and standards.
• Record vital signs and patient information.
• Greets and prepares patients for providers.
• Administer medications and vaccines as ordered.
• Draw blood, collect samples, and perform routine tests (eg, EKG).
• Schedule diagnostic testing and follow up on results.
• Document care plans and test results in records.
• Maintain exam rooms and sterilize instruments; keep clean.
