Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• BLS Certification required.
• CMA certification preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms in a professional manner.
• Assist with varied procedures under supervision of MD/NP/PA.
• Take vital signs and document accordingly.
• Coordinate front desk activities: appointments, referrals, and calls.
• Assist with testing, chart preparation, and patient education.
• Maintain patient rooms, restock supplies, and manage documentation.
• Ensure infection control and sterilization of instruments.
• Participate in weekly huddles and staff meetings.
• Communicate critical information to nurses and providers.
