Orlando Health Physician Associates is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians and APPs in an ambulatory setting at 891 Outer Road, Suite A, Orlando, FL 32814. The role includes patient data collection, exam assistance, and routine treatments.

Requirements include High School diploma, Medical Assistant training, and active BLS certification. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with opportunities for same-day/next-day appointments within a busy primary care practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification is required.
• Maintains CMA/CCMA/CMAC/NCMA/NCCT/NRCMA/NRCAMA or equivalent certification per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and APPs in ambulatory settings.
• Gathers patient data through interviews and observation.
• Performs routine treatments and administers approved medications.
• Documents data, treatments, and education in the EMR.
• Scheduling and coordinating with patients for exams and specialty testing.
• Adheres to infection control and organizational policies.
