Job summary

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver direct patient care in an ambulatory setting. The role works under physician supervision and coordinates pre/intra/post aspects of the medical visit, including registration and scheduling.

The successful candidate will have CMA certification within six months, at least one year of MA experience, and may benefit from bilingual Spanish abilities.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) within six months of hire from one of the AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA
• At least one year of Medical Assistant work experience
• Bilingual Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct care, coordination of pre/intra/post aspects of the medical visit
• Registration and scheduling, physician-patient communication and other office-related tasks
