Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for their Express Care services in Ishpeming Township, Michigan. This full-time position includes varied shifts, with opportunities for 10-hour shifts and rotating weekends.

Job Type: Full Time | Varied

Sign-on Bonus: $2,500 paid out over 2 years

Shift: Varied. Opportunity for 10‑hour shifts and rotating weekends.

Location: UP Health System – Bell, Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

How You’ll Contribute

• Under the supervision of a physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Documents patient care given.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains examination areas.
• Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates.
