Job summary

Cone Health in an outpatient clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant Certified to deliver team-based patient care under the direction of a Provider, following established care plans to support each patient's needs. Working under close supervision in an outpatient setting, this role performs routine clinical and administrative tasks to assist providers and the care team.

This role supports basic patient data collection, prepares patients and equipment for procedures, assists with preventive care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification as CMA/RMA or listed credential preferred.
• No prior MA experience required; willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Supports routine clinical procedures under supervision.
• Documents patient information in the EMR promptly.
• Aids with scheduling, check-in, and referrals as directed.
• Administers vaccines and basic treatments under supervision.
