Job summary

EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. You will greet and room patients, obtain histories and vitals, and prepare patients for exams, while assisting with procedures and testing.

A strong emphasis on accurate EMR entry and sterile technique is required. The role includes administering injections, performing phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing under physician orders, with four 10-hour days per week and Fridays

Qualifications

• WA State MA Certification required.
• Current national MA certification required (AAMA/AMT/NHA/NCCT/AMCA).
• BLS certification by date of hire.
• Proficient with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greets and rooms patients per standard.
• Takes patients history and vital signs.
• Prepares patients for exam.
• Assists provider with exam/surgical procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Maintains sterile environment per WA state standards.
• Administers injections per provider orders.
• Performs phlebotomy per provider orders.
• Performs point-of-care testing per provider orders.
