Job summary

Baptist Union City is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to provide personal care to patients under supervision. You will perform direct patient care, triage and room patients, and help maintain patient safety in a fast-paced clinic.

Ideal candidates have an approved nursing or medical assistant course and at least one year of experience; phlebotomy skills and BLS are a plus. We offer opportunities to participate in ongoing education and certification support.

Qualifications

• Approved nursing or medical assistant course is required.
• Minimum of one year experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire date is required.
• Certification by the National Certification Board (NCCT) or obtain within 6 months of hire date.
