Zusammenfassung

ERP International is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time position at the PCMH clinic in support of Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms, CA.

The CMA will assist with patient check-ins, vital signs, room preparation, and basic diagnostic procedures, following clinic policies. Excellent benefits and a strong team environment are offered.

This role requires minimum MA training with NHA or equivalent certification and BLS; a background check is required.

Qualifikationen

• Education: accredited MA program or equivalent military program.
• Experience: minimum 6 months as Medical Assistant after graduation.
• Board Certification: NHA or equivalent required.
• Life Support Certification: BLS required.
• Security: must pass government background check and obtain a government security clearance.

Aufgaben

• Check vitals: temperature, respiration, pulse, weight, BP, pulse oximeter.
• Document patient history, drug history, chief complaints, allergies and vitals.

• Maintain examination room stock and routine maintenance.
• Complete lab and x-ray requisitions per clinic policy.
• Enter demographic data and diagnoses into the system.

Responsibilities

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8.5 hours between 7:00am and 6:30pm

No Weekends, No Holidays

No Call, No Call-Back

Job Specific Position Duties

CORE Duties

• Prepare examination rooms prior to patient's arrival.
• Assist with patient check-ins, admissions, discharges, and transfers as directed.
• Check patient's vital signs, to include temperature, respiration, pulse, weight, blood pressure, and pulse oximeter reading.
• Obtain and document patient's current medical history, drug history, chief complaints, allergies and vital signs on the correct form.
• Perform diagnostic procedures when ordered.
• Maintain examination room stock levels and perform routine maintenance of examination rooms.
• Complete lab and x-ray requisitions in accordance with clinic policies.
• Enter demographic data into the computer upon patient check-in; enter diagnosis and departing time when patient is released.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by one of the following programs: Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC); Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS); Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET); or Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). or Graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists or a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces.
• Experience: Minimum 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant after graduation
• License: None
• Board Certification: certification by NHA or other formal certifying program required
• Life Support Certifications: BLS
• Security: Must be able to pass a Government background check and obtain a Government security clearance.

Pay Scale: $27/hr to $34/hr, to be determined based on employment options, qualifications, experience, and location
