Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Contract, Primary & Acute Care

Location: Overland Park, KS
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Dates: until August 1, 2025
Contract Duration: approximately 12 Weeks
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a multidisciplinary health clinic in Overland Park, KS. This is approximately a 12-week contract role with potential to be part of a long-term care team serving patients ages 2 and up, primarily focused on adult primary and acute care services.

Responsibilities:

Support providers in primary and acute care services

Perform patient intake, vitals, and EHR documentation

Assist with minor procedures and specimen collection

Deliver exceptional patient service in a fast-paced setting

Help coordinate care with other clinic services including PT and behavioral health

Requirements:

Current CMA certification

BLS certification (American Heart Association)

At least 1 year of recent outpatient or primary care experience

Strong communication and multitasking skills

Additional Info:

Contract role; 40 hours/week

Clinic includes primary care, acute care (including pediatrics), PT and behavioral health

Ages served: 2+ (acute care only for pediatric patients)
