In this role, you’ll support providers, deliver high‑quality clinical care, and help ensure smooth patient flow in a fast‑paced primary care environment. This position is ideal for an MA with strong primary care experience, confidence in labs and injections, and a team‑player mindset.

Medical Assistant II (Certified/Registered)

A Day in the Life

• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes: vitals, medical histories, medications, allergies
• Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and splinting
• Perform EKGs , immunizations, injections, specimen collection, and point‑of‑care testing
• Prepare, label, and process lab samples
• Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and equipment calibration
• Support triage, care coordination, and transitions across clinical settings
• Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
• Document clinical data and provider instructions in the EHR
• Schedule appointments, manage referrals, authorizations, and test resultsVerify insurance and assist with prior authorizations and patient registration
• Maintain inventory and prepare exam/procedure rooms
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, audits, and safety drills
• Communicate effective with patients, providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Uphold HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and compliance standards
• Provide compassionate, culturally competent care to diverse patient populations
• Demonstrate excellent guest service and teamwork
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA)-Required
• 2-5 years of MA experience in a healthcare setting
• Primary Care experience required ; Urgent Care preferred
• Graduate of an accredited MA program
• BLS certification required
• Skilled in vitals, EKGs, injections, specimen collection, and clinical room setup
• Knowledge of infection control, universal precautions, and sterile technique
• Familiarity with EHR systems and accurate documentation
• Strong medical terminology and scheduling skills
• Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑volume clinic
• Reliable attendance and commitment to exceptional patient care
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Compensation Range

Compensation Range: $20.00 to $30.00 The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good‑faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
