Job summary

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for Marlette Rapid Care in Marlette, MI. This full-time role (3-12's) includes rooming patients, taking vital signs, and supporting the provider to deliver high-quality care.

The ideal candidate will have CMA/CCMA/RMA certification preferred and prior experience in a physician’s office, with strong patient-centered communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and assist the provider as necessary.
• Use EMR system, register patients, and verify insurance.
• Scan medical records and call patients with results and proper documentation.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of patient care related tasks such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting the provider as necessary. Additional tasks include but are not limited to the use of our EMR system, registering patients, insurance verification, scanning medical records, phoning patients with results and proper medical documentation. The candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while providing quality patient care to all ages while maintaining patient confidentiality.
