Job summary

Access Medical Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support nurses and staff, prepare charts, pull notes, set up equipment, and maintain clean, organized rooms at our Arkansas clinic.

You will monitor vital signs, perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing, assist with minor procedures, administer medications as directed, track labs, communicate results, and document care in EMR systems to keep patient visits on schedule; also handle receptionist duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Must be registered/licensed in applicable State and maintain an active license.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to make independent decisions when appropriate.
• Excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional relationships with associates and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and exam rooms, pulling charts and notes and setting up equipment.
• Monitor and record vital signs and medical history.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, POCT, administering medications, and assisting with minor procedures.
• Track labs, communicate results, and support basic office duties to keep care on schedule.
• Efficiently use EMR systems to document care and manage orders.
• Provide receptionist and other duties as assigned.

You’ll help track labs and tests, keep patients updated on results, manage medical supply inventory, set up equipment, and maintain clean, organized rooms and instruments.
