Overview: Certified Medical Assistants are essential to delivering whole person care to our patients. We offer a Medical Assistant Clinical Ladder to support growth and development within our connected system, and we have established an MA Apprenticeship program with an accredited local college to educate and prepare future MAs for success.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of clinical tasks as directed by an authorized health care provider in accordance with our Physician Group Scope of Practice.
Assist with front office duties and scheduling of tests and/or patient appointments.
Maintain accurate chart documentation and medical record maintenance.
Attend or conduct in-service presentations and seminars to facilitate personal and professional growth.
Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Collaborate with the healthcare team and patients/families to identify and meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient.

Qualifications

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Certified Medical Assistants candidates will need the following:

High School Diploma or G.E.D., required
Medical Assistant certification or registration from an approved organization, required
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association, required

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.

Pay Range

$18.00 - $28.21 / hour
