Position Summary

Community Health Partnership of Illinois is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Champaign, IL. The Certified Medical Assistant will support physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and strong communication skills when interacting with patients, coworkers, and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Obtain and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and other clinical information.
  • Prepare examination rooms, medical supplies, and equipment for patient care.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and clinical procedures within the scope of practice.
  • Administer medications as directed by authorized healthcare providers.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient medical records.
  • Provide patients with education, instructions, and support regarding their care.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
  • Follow all applicable healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and patient confidentiality requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to support efficient and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program.
  • CPR certification.
