MUSC Community Physicians in Bluffton, SC seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support a pediatric outpatient clinic. The CMA will interview patients, take vital signs, and document results under RN supervision and physician direction.

The position requires completion of an accredited medical assisting program with certification and BLS, with 40-hour work weeks and hourly compensation. Prior patient-care experience is preferred.

Competenze

• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred.
• Must be certified through AMT, AAMA, NHA, MedCA, NAHP or NCCT as a CMA/CCMA.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.

Additional Job Description

High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred. Must be certified through the American Medical Technologist (AMT) or American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Health career Association (NHA) or MedCA as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
