Job summary

Stark Aerospace is seeking a dependable Mechanical Technician in Mississippi to support quality and production goals. You will follow detailed work instructions and engineering drawings, perform basic mechanical tasks with hand tools, and maintain clean, organized work areas.

Candidate should be able to obtain J-STD and ESD certifications and collaborate with OE, QE and ME to drive continuous quality improvement while recording downtime and production metrics for daily logs.

• Ability to read and apply information from engineering drawings.
• Strong teamwork in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
• Basic mechanical skills using hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain J-STD certification.
• Obtain and maintain ESD certification.
• Maintain effective documentation to ensure quality.
• Maintain a neat and tidy work area.
• Consistently meet quality and production goals.
• Follow and perform assembly from work instructions and/or engineering drawings.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Work closely with OE, QE and ME to establish and improve quality goals.
• Measure TAC time and cycle time to meet customer demand.
• Complete and maintain daily log books for downtime, scrap, and production.
