Jonathan Club in Santa Monica is seeking a skilled massage therapist for a part-time on-site role within our Beach Club - Athletics and Wellness program. You will deliver personalized massages, maintain professional presence, and contribute to a calm, luxury guest experience.

The ideal candidate holds a CAMTC certificate, demonstrates knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques, and is comfortable with additional modalities.

Position Requirements

California Association of Massage Therapy Counsel (CAMTC) certification required. Must present a certificate during the interview process and maintain it throughout employment if hired.

Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage.

Knowledge of other modalities (Sports, Stretching Techniques, Prenatal, etc.).

Ensuring the physical safety and comfort of guests and team members.

Dedicated professional who is motivated and has a great positive attitude.

Physical Demands

Physical demands of the job include:

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length. The length of time for these tasks may vary daily and from task to task.

Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to complete room-resetting tasks and all massage service protocols. Requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.

Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.

This position may involve additional duties as necessary to maintain operational efficiency and security.

Education

Technical/other training or better.

Experience

Minimum of 3+ years of active, hands-on experience as a certified massage therapist. Previous experience in a 4-star or 5-star luxury spa, resort, or high-end wellness environment is strongly preferred.
